A little help.
Back to your files.

Set up your Mac, find your license or get in touch.

Get started.

macOS 15.6 or later.
Apple Silicon only.

  1. Install Easy NTFS.

Download the installer from the download page, open it and follow its steps. macOS asks for your administrator password. Easy NTFS is installed in Applications; open it from there.

  2. Follow the setup in the app.

Enable the file system extension. Easy NTFS shows the permissions needed on your version of macOS and takes you to the right settings.

  3. Connect your NTFS drive.

Open it in Finder to work with your files. When you are finished, eject the drive before unplugging it.

Mac permissions.

Start with the setup in Easy NTFS.

Where do I enable the extension?

Open System Settings → General → Login Items & Extensions → File System Extensions, then turn on Easy NTFS.

On macOS 26 or later, use the “By Category” tab if the switch does not work under “By App”. Return to Easy NTFS so it can check the setting.

Why does Easy NTFS need a helper?

On macOS 15, the helper is required for NTFS write access. On macOS 26 or later, it is needed for operations such as checking, repairing or formatting a disk.

Install it from Easy NTFS when prompted, then approve it in System Settings with your administrator password. Follow the app’s Full Disk Access step when shown.

What if macOS denies disk access?

If Easy NTFS asks for Removable Volumes access, open System Settings → Privacy & Security → Files & Folders and enable Removable Volumes for Easy NTFS.

If the setup asks for Full Disk Access, open Privacy & Security → Full Disk Access and enable Easy NTFS. Add it with the + button if it is missing. Return to the app and follow any restart instruction it shows.

My drive is still read-only. What should I check?

Check the drive’s status and any setup message in Easy NTFS first. An unfinished setup, a read-only setting or the state of the disk can prevent write access.

If the message is unclear, send us the exact wording. You do not need to format a drive just to ask for help.

Your license.

One purchase. Up to 5 Macs.
All future updates included.

Open my license →
Where do I find my license key?

Open My license and enter the email used for your purchase. Follow the sign-in link in your inbox to view and copy your key.

The key is for activating the full version of Easy NTFS on your Mac. Internet access is required for activation; everyday use does not require a permanent connection.

How do I move to a new Mac?

Sign in to My license, select your license and release the old Mac’s activation. Then activate the new Mac with the same key.

You can have up to 5 active Macs and add up to 10 new Macs in a rolling 12-month period. Releasing a Mac frees a place but does not reset that yearly limit.

Can I change my email?

In My license, choose “Change license email”. You will confirm codes sent to both your current and new address.

Only the selected license moves. Its key and activated Macs stay the same. After confirming, sign in with your new email.

I no longer have access to my email.

Contact support with your old purchase email and order reference, if you have it. We will need to verify ownership before changing access.

Please do not send passwords, verification codes or card details.

I have not received a sign-in email.

Check the spelling of your email and your spam folder. Use the address currently linked to your license, which may differ from your original purchase email.

If the link has expired, request another from My license. If it still does not arrive, get in touch.

Do I need a card for the trial?

No. The full trial lasts 7 days with no card and no automatic charge. Internet access is needed to start it; reinstalling does not start a new trial.

After the trial, a one-time purchase gives you a lifetime license for up to 5 Macs, including all future updates.

How do I ask for a refund?

See our refund policy and email us with your purchase email and order reference. For purchases sold through Link, Link support can also help with transaction questions.
